Spike's Journey to USF2000

Racing karts at age four and a half, winning in karts at age five in 2008 and winning every year since.  Spike Kohlbecker knows how to win. A winner at local, regional and national levels of karting, Spike has continued his winning ways after transitioning to cars and now has his sights set on the Road to Indy.

It all starts in karts…as it did for Spike in a Margay Wildcat Kid Kart. Wins quickly followed and he was on his way.

Bigger fields, more competition and a determination to keep on winning. Spike did just that as he moved into national-level karting and claimed wins at Daytona & Indy.

Canadian F1600

Second place sucks.  Unless it is your first ever race in an F1600 and it happens to be at the Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix.  Multiple series wins followed.

UK F1600

If you want to beat the best in F1600 racing, you go to the UK. Spike does, and he did. Claiming multiple wins at Brands Hatch and Silverstone proved Spike can win when under fire from the best.
