Our Mission

To provide an opportunity for exceptionally talented young drivers from all walks of life to develop their skills and enhance their motorsports career opportunities in an environment unconstrained by traditional financial requirements.

TEAM OWNER

Scott Blind

Successful entrepreneur. Property developer. Car collector. Karting enthusiast. Scott Blind is driven to succeed on and off the track. Scott’s passion for motorsports is tempered by the fact that, unlike stick & ball sports, talent isn’t what drives a deserving athlete to the top. Determined to make an impact, Scott committed to addressing the financial burden required of young drivers by creating Ignite Autosport where drivers are chosen on talent alone and given the opportunity to transition from karts to cars while being able to focus solely racing rather fundraising.

TEAM MANAGER

Keith Freber

Third generation owner of racing kart manufacturer Margay Racing, LLC Keith Freber is a lifelong racer with a focus on growing the sport of karting. Firmly believing that karting should be the most accessible and affordable form of motorsports, Keith and his team at Margay developed the Ignite karting program in an effort to minimize traditional entry barriers into the sport and broaden the base of karting participants. Ignite Autosport is a natural extension of the Ignite Karting program and seeks to more clearly define karting as the foundation for all future motorsports champions.
Keith resides in Glendale, MO with his wife Nicole.

CAR OWNERS

Cape Motorsports

Cape Motorsports campaigns cars in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship. The team is the winningest operation in USF2000 history, having won nine of the last 10 Driver Championships and 13 titles in total, with drivers such as Matthew Brabham, Petri Suvanto, Scott Hargrove, Florian Latorre, Nico Jamin, Anthony Martin, Oliver Askew, Kyle Kirkwood, and Braden Eves. They have also won seven of the last eight USF2000 Team Championship titles.

The goal of Cape Motorsports is to provide unmatched driver development both on and off the track. It can be challenging for a young driver to enter a professional racing series and win, regardless of talent, and through coaching and mentoring, Cape Motorsports provides young drivers with the knowledge base and work ethic necessary to achieve success.
